Website privacy notice
This notice describes how the AMEN Lab website behaves and what happens to information that reaches AMEN LAB LLC through it.
What this notice covers
This is the privacy notice for the AMEN Lab website at amen-lab.com. It covers the website itself and the email address published on it. The company responsible is AMEN LAB LLC, an independent software company based in North Carolina, United States.
It is not a privacy policy for Project G. Project G is still in development. When it is released, AMEN Lab will publish a separate policy describing that application's own data handling, written against what the released application actually does.
No analytics, advertising, or tracking
This website does not use web analytics, advertising, behavioral profiling, session recording, or tracking pixels. There are no third-party marketing or measurement scripts on any page.
The site is a set of static pages. It has no user accounts, no sign-in, no contact form, and no comments. Text is set in typefaces already present on your device, so no font files are requested from an outside service.
Cookies
AMEN Lab does not set cookies on this website for analytics, advertising, or profiling, and does not use browser storage to build a profile of you. As this notice is written, the website sets no cookies at all.
If you email us
The only way to contact AMEN Lab through this site is the email link to dev@amen-lab.com, which opens your own email application. If you write to us we receive whatever you choose to include — your address, your name if you sign it, the contents of your message — together with the ordinary technical headers your mail provider attaches.
We use that to answer you and to keep a record of the correspondence. We do not add it to a marketing list and we do not sell it. Mail sent to dev@amen-lab.com is routed by Cloudflare Email Routing to a mailbox operated for AMEN LAB LLC.
Hosting and infrastructure
The website is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare necessarily processes ordinary technical request information in order to serve pages and keep the service available and secure — for example the IP address a request comes from, the page requested, the time of the request, and the browser's user-agent string.
AMEN Lab does not claim that no such data exists; delivering a website over the Internet is not possible without it. What AMEN Lab does claim is that it does not use that data to profile visitors, does not combine it with other sources, and does not run its own analytics on top of it. Cloudflare processes it as a service provider under its own terms.
Cloudflare's security features are capable of setting a strictly necessary cookie to tell automated traffic from people. No such cookie is being set on this website at present. If that ever changes it would be to keep the site available and protected, never to track you, and this notice will be updated to say so.
Information we hold about you
Because the site has no accounts and no forms, AMEN LAB LLC holds no personal information about you unless you have emailed us. If you have, and you want to know what we hold or want it deleted, write to dev@amen-lab.com and say so.
Children
This website is a company website. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this notice
If this notice changes, the effective date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
